Muzaffarnagar is the industrial town in western part of Indian state Uttar Pradesh. The main industrial products in the district are sugar, paper and steel. There are many mills and plants in and around the district based on these products. Apart from these prominent industries there are various small scale companies which have grown in the district in a successful way and have contributed to the overall economy of the district
